Saturday Project

We painted the front door and added some new lights that we found on
sale at Lowes.

Finally my life is complete.

I've dreamt of this day for most of my adult life and on April 12, a
mere two days before my Bday, KFC brings me this miracle of a sandwich.

Bread was so overrated anyway, two pieces of boneless fried chicken
stuffed with bacon and cheese. I'll see everyone again at my next
heart surgery :)

Emily can do Cartwheels!

Crazy Squirrel

Emily's Puppet Show

Found this cat in the dumpster at work. Free to good home. Not very friendly, so I don't suggest it for anyone that has children.

Ugh Snow

We got our 1-3". 1" in the road and 3" in the yard. Getting pretty
sick of snow.

My Valentines Day gift

The original GI Joe series Season 1. Time for Emily to get educated on
some real cartoons, no more Spongebob Squarepants in my house. And
she'll learn real life lessons that have molded me into the man I am
today because they contain the original PSA announcements at the end :)

I thought I lived in NC

Another 1-3" expected tonight in our weekly Friday snowstorm.

Oh yea...

This is how we plow the roads in NC. You yankees can keep your wimply
plow trucks.

Gotta love the south

This is what a $20 sled and $25 pail of salt looks like after it snows
in NC...haha. They were out of snow shovels I can just imagine what
that would cost.

This is what you get for being nice

Green eggs and ham

Emily wanted green eggs for breakfast this morning but she is more of
a bacon person than a ham for breakfast. She does like green eggs and
ham, sam I am.

Yum....

Bayou Bacon wrapped Scallops and Spinach and Artichoke Mac and Cheese.
Both were worth the work.

Snow!

We have about 6" right now. Still coming down heavily.

Still snowing

Wish we had brought snow shovels when we moved down. Some salt would
be great too....

We got snow!

Got 5-6" overnight and supposed to add a couple more today. Right now
it's doing some kind of frozen sleet/snow thing.

Snow

They are calling for 10-16" this time!

Mesa Grill Southwestern Potato Salad

Look up the recipe online. So good but very spicy. Make sure you at
least halve the amount of Cayenne and pureed Chipotle Peppers. You can
always add the spice back in.

The Smoke Shack

That's not really the name but that's what we call it. It's really
just a guy cooking chicken and something that sorta tastes like beef
on a chainlink fence over a mesquite wood fire. Then you sit at a wood
table and eat the meat with some flour tortillas that you have to walk
down the street and buy ahead of time.

It is very scary looking and fails the health code miserably but it
tastes great.
