Dozer's settled in

One more week of light exercise before he's cleared for regular
exercise. He's been getting lots of walks and is the perfect dog for us.

Was pretty toasty after fishing since Lake Hickory is full of mud and
garbage after all this rain. Swam with Emily in her kiddie pool.

Tough fishing this morning. No bait, broken prop, and lots of snags
but still had a lot of fun. Caught a catfish....

Went to friends house on Satirday night. Had a great dinner and had a
lot of fun.

We had a great time camping but none of us got much sleep.

neighbors can play the guitar.

Dozers Down

What a day! We just got home from our neighbors and we are all pooped
out. The day started with Dozer and the family going to Petsmart and
Petco. He did great in the car and in the store.

Then the neighbors called us to come over for dinner. After swimming
and taking a cruise in the boat we got Dozer and brought him over. I
took him down to the dock and he dove right in. Looks like we got a
water dog. Then he spent the rest of the afternoon and evening with us
off his leash with no problems at all. He was great around the other
dog and the kids but he does love licking cheetos off little girls
faces.

It was a great day and our new buddy did amazing.

Dozers home!

He is doing great so far. Loves the giant pillow we got him. We went
for a walk and got caught in the rain already but he got to meet the
neighbors dog.

We pick up Dozer tomorrow!

The Humane Society called and wants us to get him a week early since
they are out of room and he is locked in a small glass cell and he is
getting really depressed. On the recommendation of my bro he has a
shiny new Dingo bone for the ride home.

Clean Jeep

Found a new detailing place that opened and decided to give them a
try. Jeep turned out great, just like brand new again.

Emily went fishing with her new Barbie pole tonight and caught 6 fish.
Her friend Casey came down and they caught a fish at the same time!

It was 90 out so we took the top off the Jeep. A quick storm came up
and the Jeep and us are soaked. We were lucky and got under a gas
station canopy or it would have been much worse.

Our hotel was a very nice resort right across from the beach. The USS
Comfort, a humanitarian aide ship, was stationed just off the coast
and was providing free medical care for the Dominicans.

Classes

The difference between rich and poor is very wide in DR.

Santo Domingo

The Dominican Republic has some amazing landscape. Rich jungles,
beautiful beaches and big mountains. This was the view on our way to
work.

After dinner we stopped at a corner open bar with our friend Abel. We
got some cold Amber's and Presidente beer and hung out with the locals.

Dozer

We went and visited Dozer today to see how he is doing with his
heartworm treatment. We are going to think about it one more week but
everbody loves him.
