Our Vintage Temporama Set
We've picked up pieces of this set from yard sales, flea markets, goodwill and antique stores throughout the years. We now have a great set to display.
This is my favorite pattern of dishwater from the 50's and 60's.

Today's Haul
Had a great day of picking today. Found a bullet planter, brass bird sculpture, turtle ashtray/planter, birdcage plant holder, blue vase and Corning Centura bowl and serving planter. We ended up going to Tioga Downs flea market and our local shops.

Carousel
In a square downtown, we hadn't seen it working yet. Every morning we go by it's all locked up. This afternoon we saw it going around.
Private Canal
Off the back of the grounds facing Avon. When the chateau was built Fontainebleau (the town) didn't exist. Once Napoleon moved in, he torn down the back wall and opened the chateau to the masses.
The French Garden
This is the view back at the chateau from the back corner of the French garden. Lots of grass with very linear flower beds.
From Another Angle
Here is the entrance from the end of the tree lined drive. We walked around the French garden to get here before walking through the English garden.
Chateau de Fontainebleau
Built in the 1500's by Francois I, the chateau was home to Napoleon starting in 1802. This is actually the back of the complex.

Weekend Project
We didn't get quite finished (one more row on garage door) but we also helped the neighbors clean up the neighborhood tennis courts yesterday too.
All we have left is to fill any holes and final sand before paint. As much as we love the cedar some of the wood is pine so it will not match. Hopefully this week if the weather holds we can paint this section completely so we will know what the final house will look like.
