More snow

Here's the back porch, it is cold and windy outside. Feels just like
being up north.

It snowed!

Some melted overnight so we probably had 2 inches. We just got back in
from sledding in the front yard!

At the doctor today for a Nuclear Stress Test. This should show
whether I'm 100% healed or not.

Sold the recumbent bike and some other stuff to cover the price of my
new toy, Concept 2 Rower. Used one in rehab and loved it, such a great
full body workout.

Santa came early!

I got a new toy for the kitchen. Wanted a good rice cooker for years
and finally found a deal on one. It has a timer and warmer so ready
made rice when you get home.

Perfect meal for the coming great depression.

Dinner with our German Neighbors

Had a dinner party at our neighbors house last night. Had a great
german dinner followed by some warm german wine. Emily got this egg
for Saint Nicholas day from them. It's a candy covered plastic egg
that has a collectible toy inside!

Decorations too!

Stairs are decorated, snowflake window covers for the door and the
tree up in the nook that you can see from the road.

We put up our 7' tree and it looked puny in the new house. Quick trip
to Lowes 50% off sale and a new 9' looks perfect and we could finally
use all of our ornaments.

Santa took some time off at his shop to visit the Walmart here in
Hickory. Emmy told him she wanted a racetrack for Xmas.
